Blindsided

Tonight I got a call from my Mom. Someone I haven't seen in a very long time took her life last night. Her body was discovered this morning by her Mother. She was only 24 years old.

I'm still trying to wrap my mind around this. I wasn't close to this girl but was around her quite often in my childhood (she was cousins with my best friend). I remember her being a loud and boisterous child, annoying in her perkiness and youth. The last time I saw her was at my best friends wedding, 6 years ago.

Tonight my heart goes out to her family.
