Ok ladies. You know who you are. I'm asking for all of us who see you and think three things:
1. How in the world do you get it so high?
2. Does it move when the wind blows?
3. How many cans of hair spray did it take?
What is up with the rat's nest, curled beyond curled, teased beyond teased, permed beyond permed hair? Is it refusing to let go of the past? Do you think what looked good on you as a teen still looks good on you as a 30-40 something? Is it that you're a permanent child of the 80's? What is this hold that big hair has over you?
You're next guys, don't think you're out of the woods yet! What gives with the mullets? Do you think that business in the front party in the back cut is still appealing to the Nelson loving "Only time with tell" singing girls from your studly hayday?
What gives?

Broken Record
I've repeated myself over and over today...
It's been a struggle. I will never understand why my children refuse to listen until my patience has been worn string thin and I finally warn them in 'that' voice. You know the one I'm talking about. They know when they hear that side come out it's serious business. This is all well and good but it leaves me in a foul mood that is hard to shake off. It has the ability to ruin my day completely, sometimes even reaching well into the evening.
So far this week: Logan and Vincent have begun fighting constantly with one another. Vincent has become a cry baby, Arwen has become boss-eena, and Logan has started getting up in my face when I tell him no (when he requests more and more snacks) and repeats which snack he wants over and over, louder and louder.
So today goes to the kids.
On another note, I purchased a monthly dry erase calendar which lays everything out for the day (what activites, dinners, etc). I'm hoping this helps ease some of my stress. Oh and I colored my hair. It's now RED and I do mean RED. I tried to capture it in a picture but I need one in the sun. I'll try to get one when it comes back out again.
Summer Scoreboard:
Kids=3
Mom=3

Barbershop Rocks!
I've seen the shop many times during my trips to the drugstore and today I decided to take a chance. I walked Vincent inside and told the barber I needed a cut for him. To my delight Vincent was a total angel. He didn't cry or fuss and his hair looks so much better. (I'm sure it has to feel better too)
For all of the boy's future haircare needs this is the place I'm using and since his hair clippers had this little vacuum attachment the hair didn't fall all over Vincent's face. It was so much better than the last time I took him in for a trim.
I'm also pretty excited about a recent closet find of mine. Several months ago my aunt told me she was packing up stuff to give to the Good Will. She had shoes, purses and some clothing and asked me if I wanted to take a look at what she had. Since she usually has very nice things I asked for dibs on the purses and she handed them over. Unfortunately it was around Christmas and I wound up putting the bag into the closet and totally forgot about it...until today!
I found this gorgeous leather Dooney and Bourke doctor's satchel inside. This purse is so nice and better still, it's FREE. I need to ask her when she's purging her closet again!

Opinions Needed
Ok. I've always wanted to cut my hair into a pixie. I've never done it. I'm not sure if it's because the hubs likes it longer or because I've had stylists that have told me you require a certain face shape (and that you have to be thin and confident to pull it off, and yes I was insulted when told that!).
Anyhow. I love Kelly's cut. Do you think I would look ok and should take the plunge? Or should I grow it back out?

Short Hair
So should I cut off more or not? I wanted it to my chin, and it's close, but not what I expected. Maybe I should add some layers to it? Or is it ok being a simple cut?
