For the first time in my life I didn't have a team to root for this year. This isn't because I dislike the Giants nor the Patriots but instead stems from the fact I cannot stand either quarterback: Eli Manning or Tom Brady.
I couldn't decide who I wanted to lose more so I cheered on whenever any sack was made and booed all touchdown passes. I cheered for both teams and against both teams and at the end when the Giants won I felt strangely let down and furious.
It is without a doubt the worst Superbowl of my life. I hope next year marks a return to enjoying this yearly celebration. Just god please no more Eli or Tom. Especially Eli. Anyone remember the hissy fit he threw when he was drafted by the Chargers? He made my children look good. What a pansy.

As a San Diego fan living in San Diego, that's what I said! My husband says, yeah, but look who we got for him (Rivers and Merriman), so no problem.
Actually I was happy with the game overall. I really, really didn't want the patriots to win. The only thing that would have made it better would have been the giants winning in spite of a ton of eli-errors. He did get sacked a couple of times, which made me smile.
We were very happy when the Giants made that last touchdown. Beyond the fact we lost to them two weeks ago, there was that whole cheating thing with the patriots earlier this season.
LOL Katherine,
You and I are in agreement. I dislike Tom Brady very much too. I suppose for me it just burns my hide remembering the way Eli threw that tantrum. I told my husband I'd never like him after that. There were better ways to handle himself in my opinion.
I didn't watch much of the game but I hear Tom Brady spent a portion of it on his bum. Now that brings a smile to my face. I hope he cleaned his foot, since he's now putting it in his mouth.
