Waiting on Baby
The day is here. My sister is in the hospital set to deliver my brand new niece or nephew.
.
I'm so excited but equally worried. She went into the hospital last night to be induced and this morning she is thinned out but not dialted. I hope once they get her labor started she will go quickly but I've been told she is already in a great deal of pain.
.
I'm very concerned because I just spoke with my Mom and they already gave her an epidural. She is only dialated 1-2. From my understanding, getting an epi that soon, without strong labor and dialation, can result in a c-section. I hope this isn't the case.
.
I'll blog more later when I know something.

Spoiled
So, I was over at Littlesunshine's blog and she had THIS entry. It reminded me of something that happened when I was getting my hair done Friday.
As I sat waiting for the color in my hair to develop a girl walked in. Nothing was particularly different about her, but I could sense in the way she carried herself she was bitchy. She interrupted my stylist (who was talking to me) and said she needed her eyebrows done. So off Niki went with the girl.
When they came out the girls eyes were RED. It was scary. But in an effort to be nice and strike up a conversation with Niki I said:
"I've never had my eyebrows done, I really should some day."
The girl looked at me and if looks could kill, I'd be 6 feet under right now. She dug through her pockets and paid and out the door she went. No thank you to Niki or see you again, nada. Niki watched as she walked to her car, a brand new Mercedes.
"She's driving a Mercedes now??" Niki seemed shocked.
"It's probably not hers," the other stylist (I don't' know her name) said.
Niki shook her head so I asked, what's the deal?
Apparently this girl is very spoiled. So much so that all of the salons in our area know her and dislike her. This of course doesn't bode well for her, since she is going to school be a stylist (good luck finding a job sister). Once she went to a salon and forked over hundred for extensions. Too bad for her they used synthetic hair and GLUED them into her scalp. She rushed to Niki and demanded she take them out but Niki declined. Telling her to return to the salon who put them in instead.
You know what the girl did when Niki said no? She went outside into the Salon parking lot, called her Mother and proceeded to yell, scream and throw a tantrum. Niki said her Mother then called Niki in an effort to sway her and Niki held her ground. She explained she refused to be liable for any damage caused (I don't blame her for smelling lawsuit with this girl).
All of this got me to thinking about "those" girls. The ones I never spoke to in high school because they were so much better than everyone else. You know who I mean. The ones who always had the nice clothes and purses, the ones who drove the nice cars and the ones who always seemed a mite bitchy all the time.
I've bumped into a few of them since then. Some have changed for the better. I'm guessing gaining weight and having children have brought them down to earth, in a good way. However, I've bumped into a few that are still the exact same. Acting as if they are so much better than myself and I should thank my lucky stars they are even speaking to me.
It's truly funny how I've changed as a person. Because in high school I wanted to be those girls. I wanted the nice clothes, beautiful face and body. I wanted to drive a nice car, have all the cute boys like me and to wear someones class ring. But now I see those girls and I feel sorry for them. Because all they know is material wealth and the happiness they experience from it.
Which reminds me. I've got a great experience I'll write about later. I decided to try shopping at Target this week instead of Hell-Mart. It was very...shocking...to say the least. I'll tell you all about it next time.

Liar Liar, pants on Fire
I'm not sure which is worse. My daughter who tattles on everything or my niece who lies about it. This has been ongoing since last night. Starting with the breaking of the Unicorn I forked out way too much money for for Arwen's birthday present (I'll blog about that fiasco later).
One funny moment came when Arwen wanted to watch Final Fantasy Advent Children and Zoe threw a fit and began crying. She claimed it "scares her" and she wanted to "go home". This coming from a 7 year old who told me the last time she was here, "I watched that scary movie Wrong Turn (and yes, you read that correctly, she seemed very proud of this in fact). I don't know which is worse? The fact that she is scared of a cartoon but not people being hacked to death by cannibals OR the fact that somehow Zoe watched this.
I have to talk to my Sister. I hope to god she didn't allow her child to watch this. And if she didn't, she needs to be aware someone is.

Short Hair
Because my other pictures didn't show the cut really, here it is. Man, look at my nose! Honk! Honk!!
So should I cut off more or not? I wanted it to my chin, and it's close, but not what I expected. Maybe I should add some layers to it? Or is it ok being a simple cut?

Party Party Party!!
The party was a success. I'm so happy the with cake and how everything just came together. And I was so excited to watch Logan hit that skating floor and go! I had to remember to snap I picture, I couldn't take my eyes off of him, I was so proud.
.
As promised, some pictures of us all (the last one is of me and my sis, Hailey Bug). If you'll excuse me I'm going to sit on the couch and rest. I'm all tuckered out.

Exhausted
Boy am I whooped. I've been going all day long and I just now finished. I'm never going to want to get up tomorrow, so I'd better blog fast!
I got the goody bags done for the party tomorrow and I'm so happy with them. I bought cheap bags and matching ribbon, little things like whistles, stickers and unicorn tattoos, some candy and other random stuff. I stuffed each bag then folded the top down, punched two holes with my punch, and placed the ribbon through to make a bow to hold it in place. I also made little name cards with construction paper.
Not bad if I say so myself (and not for what it cost in the end, I saved a ton!)
As for the hair. I'm not as excited with it as I thought. The stylist did a great job, I just wanted more of a style. Anyhow, the color is great, the red tint is very lovely. I'll take more pictures of it tomorrow at the party to share.

Day 2 - Mark Closes IKEA
Ok, now that you have an idea, here is the video that had me rolling on the floor.
I wish Mark worked the PA at Hell-Mart! It would make visits so much more entertaining and fun.
