Hello Everyone!
Wow, I've really neglected this blog and I must confess something - I feel terrible about it. I suppose honesty is the best policy so here goes. The truth is, I know I can't talk about the one thing I want to most here - the ongoing dispute with my Mother.
The court date looms, each day bringing it closer. That's all well and good but knowing I will soon face the woman behind all this madness has gotten me in a frazzled state, and I know I'll turn to this venue to work out my demons.
When this ugliness is all said and done, I'll return to my normal routine. I plan on checking on everyone's blogs this week and apologize now for not doing so. I suppose a selfish part of me doesn't want to make this harder and by visiting everyone I know because I'll miss them all the more and will have to start over from scratch.
I know this is just a blog. I know I only know most of you via comments shared. But the way I feel about you, your families, and your shared experiences is something I take very seriously. I've tried to find appeasement by working my rear off (the writing is going remarkably well) but it's hollow in comparison.
This should all be said and done (God willing) by the end of October. Any and all prayers are appreciated.

Jaime,
I have missed your blogging and I can't imagine the stress you are under right now. I hope time will just fly and then you can get the court date over with and move forward from there.
Any more new of your stories publications?
Hugs
Susan
Thanks for checking in and I really hope this court thing brings about some fair resolution for you and your family. I've been neglecting my blog, too...so that makes 2 of a kind!
You have my prayers! I agree with Susan--hope it all goes quickly and you and your family end up with a much more peaceful home life when all is said and done. That this mess ends up being a really good thing for your family and your mom in the long run.
You are loved!
I had my first gallbladder attack this morning. Googling gallbladder attacks, hoping to find info on relieving the pain (which it turns out hadn't fully started yet...I found out only minutes later how bad it gets!) and in my search your blog came up. It was the last thing on my screen as I shut my laptop and retreated to the other room for the next 2 hours of hell. After the attack, and about 8 hours of sleep, I opened my laptop again, and here was your blog. I re-read your entry about the gallbladder attack, and felt very close to you in a strange way...lol! Then I noticed the date, and thought I would skip ahead to 2009 and see what's current in your life. I read all of 2009! *hugs* How much can life pile onto one woman!? The toxic situation with your mother has to be poisoning you emotionally, and I hope that it is getting handled correctly by the court! You are right to put Jimbo and the kids first, they are your family now. Your mother and sister both sound immature and selfish...that scene on your birthday was just inexcusable! I'm anxious to find out what happens/happened in court! Thinking of you, and your family, and hoping for the best! Lots of love and warm wishes...Jennifer in Kansas
P.S. congrats on your stories! stick with that! you are very, very talented! and the publisher is wrong! look at twilight! they didn't have sex till the 4th book! women like love, and longing, and sexual tension...we don't need them to roll in the hay every couple chapters! do what you need to do to get your foot in the door, but someday, write your stories your way! your instinct is spot on girl! ;)

Hi Jamie!
I've been neglecting my blog too. But I thought of you today at the beauty supply store when I couldn't resist a bottle of OPI ds mystery, even though I hardly ever paint my nails! I remembered you wrote an entry on how to do it, so I decided to give it a try!
Hope things are going well and you're almost done with your court crap. That totally sucks. I've been dealing with court and stuff for the past year, and my crap should be wrapped up by Jan. Here's to a better 2010!!
